Liberal Lies Lead to Major Misconceptions

According to a recent Rasmussen poll, 47% of voters approve of Mr. Obama’s job performance, while only 52% disapprove. Given the current state of the country under the leadership of one of the most liberal American presidents to date, only 52% of voters agree that America is headed in the wrong direction? If this poll is indicative of the mindset of those who will be casting the crucial vote in November, God help us.

An April 2012 article on the White House blog alleges Mr. Obama has succeeded in creating policies that aim to advance the middle class. The authors write, “The President has been focused on working to ensure that America grows together, rather than one in which the gains go disproportionately to the wealthy. His policies have already made a real contribution to achieving this ideal – benefiting the millions of people, principally middle-class Americans and those struggling to get into the middle class- and he continued to push tirelessly for policies, including the Buffet Rule, that will help us get closer.”

A typical liberal narrative, the White House’s apparent disillusionment is not surprising, but some clarity is needed as to whether or not the Obama administration actually believes these lies, or if the misconception is merely a ploy to deceive the country’s politically inept population. Perhaps the truth will never be revealed; however, 47% of American voters apparently believe these liberal lies.

RNC Chairman, Reince Priebus, recently stated, “When Democrats and President Obama forced their $831 billion stimulus, more than $2 trillion ObamaCare bill and massive regulations on us, they said these big government programs would be good for the economy. But we are worse off thanks to these policies. Nevertheless, President Obama should be held to his own standard. A sitting president is accountable for his record, especially to those who have been hurt most during his presidency: the struggling middle class. He is accountable to the out-of-work mechanic who can’t pay the mortgage. He is accountable to the mother of three who stays up late figuring out how to make ends meet. And he is accountable to the college graduate who has moved back home, unable to find work or pay off his student debt.”

The only feat Obama has managed to accomplish is advancing his liberal big government agenda, hindering the growth and prosperity of the private sector; the current state of the US economy is proof. Today, the unemployment rate is 8.2%, according to the US Department of Labor Statistics; however, this figure does not include those who no longer receive unemployment benefits. A recent Washington Times article asserts, “The rate has been dropping, though that is largely because of people simply giving up looking for jobs. If that weren’t happening, according to federal jobs data, the unemployment rate would be about 11 percent today.”

It’s no wonder Mr. Obama and his campaign have focused their aim on civil rights issues, such as gay marriage and the “war on women.” If they defer the people’s attention from Obama’s failed policies, then Obama doesn’t have to face public accountability. Bottom line is if the American people continue to overlook the current state of the American economy as anything less than the consequence of ultra liberal leadership, any effort to the contrary would be moot.

Obama used the middle class as a ploy to get elected and for some unknown reason the majority of voters just didn’t get it. Obama’s liberal policies hurt the middle class the most. The middle class is predominately dependant on the private sector and Obama’s mass amount of government regulations on businesses has not only sealed the fate of these businesses, but also the people who rely on them for livelihood – the middle class. Obama’s recent comment “the private sector is doing fine” is an insult to those suffering from the effects of his failed policies. Glenn Beck stated in response, “The private sector is treading water because you’re killing us. You’re killing us in the private sector for your public sector.”

If Obama is re-elected, the decline of the middle class is inevitable, and so is a recession. For the sake of growing the size of government, Obama and his liberal regime nearly destroyed the private sector and have bankrupt the people who rely on it the most. America has never been more divided. Class structure will surely dissipate, and the American people will be reduced to one entity dependant solely on the federal government. If 47% of Americans really want to guarantee of demise of a free nation, then so be it. Again I say, God help us.
