House Republican Leader John Boehner has sounded the alarm about the Slaughter Solution

The Slaughter Solution is a procedure being named for liberal House Rules Chairwoman, Congresswoman Louise Slaughter where the House would pass healthcare "without a vote."

In a move that would seem shocking to any other country where a real democracy rules the day, Louise Slaughter has come up with a way to pass healthcare without a direct vote.

It is shocking and true.

We need to send a message for House Members to vote NO on the Slaughter Solution.

A television news correspondent said this morning the healthcare bill would be the biggest change in healthcare in 40 years, yet House Democrats are trying to pass it under a sneaky scheme.

The Capitol Hill Publication Congress Daily AM reported that House Rules Chairwoman Louise Slaughter is preparing to help usher the healthcare overhaul through the House and potentially avoid a direct vote.  Slaughter is weighing preparing a rule that would consider the Senate bill passed once the House approves a corrections bill that would make changes to the Senate version.

The Slaughter Solution is an underhanded way to deal with the healthcare vote.

As Leader Boehner put it, "since Democrats currently lack the votes needed to pass the Senate health care bill through the House, this scheme would simply "deem" the Senate bill passed in the House - without an actual vote by members of the House."

His office went on to say, "amazingly, Democrats appear ready to use the "Slaughter Solution" to force their government takeover of health care through the House without an actual vote - in defiance of the American people, the traditions of the House, and common sense."

The Slaughter Solution comes on the heels of an all-out push by Obama to pass his so-called reform.

In an Ohio speech yesterday it was reported that Obama was trying to turn up the heat on Democrats to go along with his plans.

Many House Democrats who represent moderate or Republican districts are scared of what you might think if they go along.  But Obama is twisting their arms, hard, behind the scenes to get his plan done.

The New York Times said he was traveling to Ohio to begin a week of closing arguments that will culminate in a series of make-or-break House votes.  On "Meet the Press" the top vote counter for House Democrats, Majority Whip Jim Clyburn that he was still short of the votes needed to pass healthcare.

Then came word of the Slaughter Solution.  And with that new word sweetheart and behind the scenes deals are also being cut again.

As FOXNews reported Obama promised to end back room deals with Congress to get the bill passed.  But, now he is pursuing the same old Washington games, FOXNews said, "instead of dropping them, the concept behind those deals could be widened so that all states benefit."  It should not be surprising that liberals would take a bad idea and expand it.

The vote on healthcare should be a wakeup call for all conservatives and all Americans.

No matter what they say, we all know that liberal lawmakers see this vote as one more step toward socialism and a takeover of our nation's healthcare system.

On MSNBC's Rachel Maddow show last night, liberal Ohio Senator Sherrod Brown told liberals not to worry that they are not getting full nationalized healthcare just yet.  He said that Medicare was not so good when it was passed, but it was "improved" later on - like other entitlement programs.

"Improved?"  This week's edition of BUSINESS WEEK sounds the alarm.

One story outlined the massive budget deficits and national debt our nation faces and the mix of tax increases and budget cuts it would take to bring the books back in line.  ...Capping mortgage interest deductions, curbing charitable deductions, and taxing life insurance were all just some of the ideas outlined in this story.

Another story highlighted conservative leader and Congressman Paul Ryan and his quest to fix the entitlement spending already on the books.  As Ryan has repeatedly pointed out, there is doomsday math when you examine Social Security or Medicare.  Neither are currently sustainable, as Ryan said they will "swallow us alive" if left unchecked.

We simply must speak out.
