Over the last few weeks we have written you about the proposed Government Run Health Care Bill working its way through Congress. Recently I asked you to answer our survey and possibly call your Member of Congress.

Government Run Health Care will cripple our nation and cause irreversible economic damage. Your children and grandchildren will be left with the tab, and your health safety will plummet.

Obama, Pelosi, and the Democrats are strong-arming the country into a health program that will severely limit availability, innovation, and timely treatment.

However, the American Conservative Union is fighting back.

Cause for hope has already emerged, with the vote on Government Run Health Care in the House now pushed until September. This means that we have the time and the opportunity to speak up.

Voice your opinion and stand up against the liberal majority!

Obama, Pelosi, and the Democrats don't want you to know what's really in the Government Run Health Care Bill. Below are a few questions we encourage you to ask Rep. Anna G. Eshoo at your Townhall Meeting or via telephone.

1) Do you pledge that you will not vote for any Health Care Reform Bill that: a) You have not read, personally, in its entirety; and, b) has not been available, in its entirety, to the American people on the internet for at least 72 hours, so that they can read it too?

2) The bill approved by the Senate Health Committee gives one person, the Secretary of Health and Human Services, complete authority to decide what will or will not be in my health insurance policy. Do you support this?

3) How can you be sure that "Comparative Effectiveness Research", a proposal in the bill, will not lead to Health Care Rationing?

4) The bills being considered make serious cuts to the Medicare program. Do you support taking money out of Medicare to put in another government program?

5) Do you believe Members of Congress should have to be covered by the same Government Run Health Care they are proposing in the new legislation?

6) The income tax increases to pay for the health plan are only supposed to affect the "very wealthy". However, many small businesses file their taxes as individuals and would be hit by these taxes. What will you do to protect small business struggling in this recession from further taxation?

Expose the socialist principles throughout the Government Run Health Care Bill and the partisan tactics being employed by Obama, Pelosi, and the Democrats.

We at the American Conservative Union look to you the constituent to speak out against Government Run Healthcare and turn the tides in the battle.
