Obama using Border Patrol agents as babysitters for illegal alien teens

President Barack Obama allegedly uses members of the U.S. Border Patrol -- who are supposed to be patrolling the border -- as babysitters for the illegal alien teenagers flooding across the Mexico-Texas border, according to a report on Wednesday by the well-respected "Inside the Beltway" watchdog, Judicial Watch.
Setting aside the Border Patrol's primary function -- maintaining the security and sovereignty of the United States -- the law-enforcement agency, which is part of the Department of Homeland Security, is responsible for protecting the United States from terrorists and CBRN (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) weapons.
But traditionally, the Border Patrol primary function is to prevent the unlawful entry of aliens into the U.S. and interdict contraband and drugs being smuggled into the country. While the Border agents number only 21,000 agents -- half the number of the entire NYPD -- they patrol nearly 6,000 miles of international land borders and more than 2,000 miles of coastal waters surrounding Florida and Puerto Rico.
"Babysitting kids has never been one of its duties, but the country is in a crisis because it’s been bombarded with thousands of illegal immigrant youths from Central America," reported the officials at Judicial Watch.
"I guess Obama decided that since he's preventing Border Patrol and Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents to stop doing their mandated and lawful jobs, he might as well use them as de facto babysitters for illegal aliens kids," said former inner-city police detective Iris Aquino
Last week, stories of thousands of illegal aliens especially minors illegally entering the United States and being transported to cities such as Phoenix, Tucson and New York by U.S. officials shocked many Americans, according to an Examiner news story.
Judicial Watch reported this week that the Central American minors entering Texas from Mexico are overwhelming the U.S. government's immigration resources. There are media reports of overcrowded holding facilities, contagious diseases, and sexual activity by the unsupervised teenagers.
According to a internal DHS document obtained by Judicial Watch: “Rio Grande Valley Border Patrol Sector (RGV) is experiencing a major influx of Other Than Mexican (OTM) Unaccompanied Alien Children (UAC) which is straining RGV’s detention temporary housing, care, health, safety and processing capabilities. As a result, Office of Border Patrol has requested Tucson Sector’s support. In response, TCA is mobilizing the Nogales Placement Center (NPC) in order to support RGV and provide for the temporary housing, health, safety and processing of UACs.”
