Obama Uses Global Aid to Fund Green Welfare

After succeeding in just about every means necessary to destroy the US economy, Obama’s precious secret weapon, the “cap and trade bill,” will serve as a final attempt to destroy big business in America – for good. The Environmental Protection Agency, however, is claiming that the controversial bill will be “postponed indefinitely.”
According to a Fox News article written September 1, 2011, the EPA is conspiring with the soon to be former president in a desperate attempt to save his re-election campaign. “In July, the EPA announced that it would postpone, for the fourth time, new ozone standards, with a promise to reconsider them at a later date. Then in August, EPA regulators chose to ignore a promised toughening of carbon monoxide standards, angering many environmentalists. That followed a decision to postpone indefinitely rules that would have punished companies for emissions the agency says are linked to global warming.”
Obama’s “cap and trade” bill was a failed attempt to enforce regulatory policies and mandates for renewable power and energy on American corporations – as was his sinister desire. His efforts, however, haven’t been completely thwarted. According to an April 2011 article from the Heritage Foundation, “President Obama has quietly shifted some of these efforts overseas by funneling millions of U.S. foreign aid dollars to left-wing causes in poor countries, whose populations largely live on less than $1 a day.
The article exposes Obama’s liberal solution to tackling global poverty. “The President’s determination to redirect billions in foreign aid dollars to climate change programs to promote “green economies” around the world contrasts dramatically with his domestic drive for green jobs. At home, he says he wants to use taxpayer subsidies to fund job creation in environmental industries, but overseas, Obama’s plan seems to mean limiting economic growth and imposing “green welfare” on developing economies.”
Foreign aid initiatives began when former President George W. Bush created what became known as the Millennium Challenge Corporation in 2004. The purpose of the MCC under President Bush was to provide foreign aid to low income countries that proved the existence of just governments, and economic freedom. Under the Bush administration, the MCC would encourage global economic growth through trade and investment in the private sector, as well as minimize corruption.
The MCC under the Obama administration, however, “has become a vehicle for advancing some of the most economically damaging green policies that failed in Congress. Instead of encouraging self-determination and prosperity, President Obama has been attempting to turn the MCC into a green welfare pumping station, potentially reversing years of successes,” (The Heritage Foundation).
Perhaps the most questionable of Obama’s global aid masked green welfare agenda is the $700 million pledge of MCC aid to Indonesia for deforestation efforts. Mr. Obama made the announcement during his November 2010 trip to Jakarta at the University of Indonesia. Indonesia is the world’s largest Muslim nation. Obama’s ties to the Muslim world have remained an unsettling horror to dedicated Americans. A November 2010 New York Times article reveals that in his speech at the University of Indonesia, Obama said, in Muslim dialect, “I’m home.”
Mr. Obama will continue to deny his Muslim connections for the remainder of his presidency, as well as any admission to his global green welfare scandal; however, his green welfare scheme may be his only resort to accomplishing his green agenda. After promising a green economy, Obama praised a startup solar power company, Solyndra. Obama made Solyndra the symbol of green engineering. He said, “their factory is a testament to American ingenuity and dynamism and we continue to have the best universities in the world, the best technology in the world, and most importantly the best workers in the world.” To increase their chances for success, Mr. Obama promised to funnel $535 million in Federal funds from the Department of Energy to Solyndar towards their green efforts. The announcement came Wednesday afternoon, however, after the company shut its doors for good that Solyndar will be filing for Ch11 bankruptcy.
The EPA reigns as Obama’s remaining conspirator in his effort to take down big business in America. Only when Obama is forced to make the walk of shame out of the White House for good in 2013, and the Republicans take their place as head of government, will the US economy bear even the slightest hope of recovery. Let’s just hope they have enough sense to defund the EPA.
