The election tomorrow in Massachusetts could send a strong signal that the liberals have gone too far, too quick in their control of government.
Obama, Reid and Pelosi have banked on holding the Kennedy Senate seat so they can continue their spending and big government binge in Washington.
However, the polls show the people of Massachusetts are rejecting their weak, liberal candidate in favor of common sense change.
The election results are not certain, but the trends are going in the right direction.
That is why the American Conservative Union spent yesterday contacting tens of thousands of Massachusetts residents urging them to vote tomorrow.
You may have seen the news stories yesterday as liberals in Washington began scrambling to figure out what to do if they lose this seat.
They know that if their candidate does not hold onto this seat tomorrow, the prospects for Obama's health care plan dim greatly.
We want to continue urging people the vote. The hours are dwindling, so we are coming to you today.
The liberals are racing to come up with a solution if they cannot count on the Massachusetts Senate seat vote for Obama and Reid's liberal health care plans.
If they lose this seat, they lose their critical 60th vote in the Senate.
As the Washington Post headline said today, "His health-care agenda at risk, Obama stumps in Massachusetts."
That's right. Obama knows his agenda is at risk if the liberals lose this seat. That is why he travelled to Massachusetts yesterday.
He is trying desperately to pass his government-run health care plan. Without the 60th Senate vote, he is in trouble.
Help us send a message urging Massachusetts conservatives to vote.
Other newspapers are confirming Obama's fear.
The Washington Times newspaper said today "Obama stumps at last minute to save agenda" as the paper went onto to describe what is happening in Massachusetts saying, "With a top political handicapper now giving a slight edge to Republican candidate Scott Brown in Tuesday's special Senate election in Massachusetts, President Obama made a final-hours effort to rally Democratic voters, telling them his agenda hangs in the balance."
This should not be a surprise.
You and I together, working with the ACU, have spent the last year telling the people of our nation about the wasteful spending and misplaced liberal priorities flowing out of Washington.
The liberals thought the American people were not watching, that they were not listening or that the majority of Americans supported their liberal agenda.
The voters of Massachusetts are poised to show that is not true.
We need your help in urging Massachusetts conservatives to come out and vote.
The tide is turning.
Americans from across our nation - even Massachusetts - are beginning to rise up and oppose the all-out, liberal agenda.
In fact liberal leaders like Chris Dodd have already announced they are not even running for re-election after we, together, through ACU raised concerns over their actions. We are making a difference.
Help us at the ACU ensure that the people of Massachusetts remember Election Day is tomorrow.
Help us urge the vote,
here.
Thank you for all you do for us at the ACU and for America.
