An Election Update and ACU's New Rep. Maxine Waters ACORN Video

Don’t let the pundits and pollsters fool you.
The McCain/Obama race remains up in the air and if John McCain and Sarah Palin get the help they need next Tuesday, they could pull off the upset of the decade.
So, I first want to provide you an election update and my analysis on the polls you may be seeing.
As you read this the polls are tightening and many of the assumptions on which the pundits have been basing their predictions are being called into question. The polls now show a 4-5 point Obama lead which is narrowing by the day. One major pollster is saying that in the toss-up states the race is essentially dead even right now.
Voter groups that the Obama campaign has been expecting to turn out in unprecedented numbers do not seem ready to do so. Thus, the Washington Post/ABC poll while still showing a more substantial Democratic lead, reveals that younger, first-time and minority voters do NOT seem poised to vote in substantially greater numbers than in 2004.
This fact alone explains some of the poll numbers as pollsters in putting together their analysis adjust for their sense of how high turnout is likely to be in identifiable voter groups and if those assumptions are wrong, so are their results.
What the pollsters sometimes refer to as “buyers’ remorse” is setting in.
Voters are moving from Obama to undecided and could move to McCain and his running-mate Governor Sarah Palin.
The reasons: Voters are beginning to seriously wonder if we can risk an Obama Presidency and are responding to concerns about taxes and spending. McCain’s embrace of “Joe the Plumber” has helped as voters in growing numbers are expressing more concern than a few weeks ago about Obama’s economic radicalism
The fact that their message is finally gaining traction also means that Republican and conservative Senate and Congressional candidates who were given up as dead by the experts two weeks ago may still survive
Does this mean McCain and Palin will win? No it does not, but it does mean they still can win.
Their problem is that to do so, they have to overcome media bias, Obama’s huge financial advantage and the enthusiasm of his core constituency.
At this point in any election energy and the willingness of a candidate’s supporters to go the extra mile in the days before voters go to the polls is crucial … and that is perhaps more true in this race than in any we’ve seen in recent years.
HOW ARE ACORN'S VOTER FRAUD ACTIVITIES GOING TO AFFECT THIS POLITICAL SEASON?
Dennis Whitfield, wrote last week about ACORN and their involvement in the mortgage crisis, the mingling of taxpayer funds with political activities, their work with Senator Barack Obama and FBI investigations over their voter fraud
Shortly after people began signing our petition, lawmakers joined our call for an expanded FBI investigation into these activities and some responsible members of the news media began covering the larger issues behind ACORN
Now we have new evidence of their bias in this election season and it comes to us from a familiar face. This summer we sent you a video of Rep. Maxine Waters and her calls for "SOCIALIZING" energy companies, a.k.a. socialism. Now she is seen with ACORN
That's right, Maxine Waters and ACORN calling for the election of Senator Barack Obama in this video when ACORN is claiming they are not commiting voter fraud
We need your help AGAIN, NOW on this issue. We need you to go back to the Petition page. If you have not signed the petition, please do so.
If you signed and did not contribute, we need you to contribute to this effort. We need your help again this week if you have contributed before
So, please view the new video and the previous video, if you like, on our special video page here
But, regardless of whether you view the videos, please support ACU's efforts again, now, by using the form on our ACORN petition page here
Thank you
