We Can’t Cut Our Way to Prosperity.

These are words right out of the mouth of one of the most ignorant and arrogant individuals to sit on his throne. These words alone convey the lack of understanding of what drives our economy. He can only think of “tax, borrow, and spend.” History has proven time and again these socialist/Marxist theories do not work. His tax, borrow and spend policies do nothing to reduce our debt but increase it with a false sense of security. He badgers Congress that they need to reign in their spending ways. “Their spending ways?” He is the most unthinking person to ever occupy the chair. It is his spending ways that need to be curbed...it is his plans for the tax payers that need to be changed…it is him personally that needs to be reined in.

This guy is power drunk and he has no qualms about exhibiting his passion for the dramatic…and then takes credit if the outcome is good…pass on the blame if it is bad. He continues to cut swaths through the Treasury to where we are literally broke. His great give-away yielded nothing for the average taxpayer but losses; the next fiscal fiasco with GM will cost close to $30B and gave continuing strongholds for the unions that support him. His government entitlement programs cost the taxpayers every day with no return to the treasury. The expiration of the payroll tax cut has his staff saying. “It’s only 2%.” Only 2 % is 2% less money in my pocket that I was spending within the economy contributing to the overall recovery. Now it goes into the Government black hole with no impact on the economy….except the retraction of the taxpayer’s spending.

His use of his Executive Orders to legislate from his throne strikes at the fabric of what holds this country together. He sees nothing wrong. He says “I don’t need Congress…I can do this myself because I alone know what’s best for the country.” He makes laws from his throne which is not within his job. We no longer have the representation to determine our own future as a country as Congress remains silent on his abusive power. We are now left with dictatorial edicts and his socialist minions to act them out.

Regardless of his intense ignorance to the obvious, we have to cut spending in order to make our way back to prosperity. All he sees is keeping the masses under his power thru entitlement influence. He sees his power base as the takers; not the contributors. In fact…he continues to berate and punish the business world as evil while setting himself and his minions as the elitist group they have become above all others...and above the law and constitution. He couldn’t even wait 24hrs for the Fiscal Crisis bill to be passed by the House so he could “personally” sign it. Instead, he hopped a plane to Hawaii to continue his vacation and signed the bill via autopen. That showed how uncommitted he is to this country. If he didn’t personally sign the bill, is it actually legal and binding???

As he continues to consolidate his power…to oppress the market forces that once made this country strong and vibrant…to make criminals out of law-abiding citizens…he is the engineer on this train that is fast leading us into the economic ruin that previous socialist and Marxists states have suffered. So how do y’all like that hope and change he promised. If the founding fathers could see what has happened, they would have asked themselves, “Why did I place my family and life in jeopardy. Why did I spend the harsh winter along with many other men at the Potomac?

Right now we have bread lines. But we do not see them as such. People have debit cards issue by the welfare state so it is very antiseptic. We are on a train wreck and the first to go will be the stock market when it drops to correct itself. No one in the last two generations knows what it is not to be without. No one remembers the depression. It is a very foreign concept. When we finally have it, will the nation have learned its lesson you cannot “tax, borrow, and spend?”

I do not think so…
