It seems we hear the complaints from Mexico about our citizens and their dislike for illegal immigrants coming in from Mexico. They think we are taking it too far and wonder why we do not like millions of people walking over our borders illegally.

First the Mexican government gives these people a nice little manual on how to sneak over the border, how to evade law enforcement officials, where the best jobs are, and how to continue avoiding detection while living here.

So naturally the next step would be to hand out maps of bordering states like Arizona and show them where the watering holes are and the best places to stop and rest up for their illegal trek across America.

Some of the posters have warnings, such as "Don't go. There isn't enough water," but officials conceded many migrants were unlikely to heed the advice. Well, isn't this a comforting thought? They most likely will not listen to the warnings anyway, so why fret about it.

Now after looking around a bit, the fact that Mexicans working in the United States are a huge source of revenue for Mexico, sending home more than $16 billion in remittances in 2004, Mexico's second largest source of foreign currency after oil exports according to the country's central bank. Is it any wonder the Mexican government does not want reforms? Not only are they reaping the huge windfall of cash, they get to let American citizens pay for health care, overcrowded housing, and fake social security costs. Not to mention the loss of revenue from taxes that should be paid. Which means Mexico is thriving on illegal activity.

Mexico gets all the profit without the cost of providing any benefits to those they send over the border to provide for their second largest revenue source. What a deal! I wonder why Fox forgot to add that statement while ranting about how Mexican illegals do jobs most blacks would not do. Why shoot your self in the foot financially? Mauricio Farah of The National Human Rights Commission said migration "is a human right" and that "the United States should be grateful" the commission is doing something to curb the death toll, because "hundreds of thousands of Mexicans help maintain their economy." A human right?

The nerve of us ungrateful Americans for not allowing these illegals to just walk in and live like they were born here! Why do we not recognize that illegal migration is a human right?

They claim the pamphlets were handed out, over 70,000 of them by the way in order to prevent deaths from thirst. Sure, it sounds nice and fuzzy warm when you put it like that, but is there not another way to prevent them from dying in a foreign desert? Like NOT helping them out in the first place? And you would even save money on printing and paper costs, no distribution costs or overhead by telling them they will pay ALL incurred costs if caught being illegal?

We should work it like this. Nab an illegal. Notify country of origin. List ALL expenses incurred by catching them. Send country of origin a bill. Send the illegal criminal back. Let the nation of origin get their money out of these people any way they see fit within the boundaries of their laws. Let Mexico, or Nicaragua, or Guatemala get the money back.

America should NOT pay these costs, we should not even have to track them down and spend money sending them back in the first place! These are criminal acts and should be treated like any other criminal act with an agreement between nations. So instead of printing pamphlets about how to sneak in and prosper while illegally walking about, we should simply not allow ANY money to be transferred to Mexico via U.S. mail, Western Union or banks unless they have absolute proof of citizenship with a proven and valid SSN, or we simply take their cash away and use it to fund our policing efforts.

Any company caught using illegal help should also be heavily fined to help fund our security measures, AND they should be financially responsible to send the criminal back home at their own expense and they can recoup the money themselves from the nations of origin.

This might sound drastic, but when you see twice the birth rate of illegal Hispanics in Georgia then that of LEGAL Hispanics, we have a huge problem. The cost of illegal immigration to our government is $10 Billion annually. Which means it is a cost to the citizens since the government does not pay taxes. Mexico gets $16 Billion of that for turning their heads and printing pamphlets. If we took every penny from these illegals, it would be a profit. We could make $6 Billion a year here folks!

So we would need to make sure it is a more profitable enterprise and add fees and fines to those governments so we can slap a little back in the bank for rainy days. And we should take the profits from companies caught hiring these people and put it back into an unemployment fund for REAL citizens. I bet we could make at least $25 Billion annually if we did this right.

I mean why should we be bested by Mexico or any other nation in this? We should let any of them make billions while it costs us billions? Who would be stupid enough to even make a deal like this? You get 16 billion, we pay 10 billion, and we all walk away happy?

The rest of us can only dream we walk into such a sweet deal in this life. I say turn the tables now on these nations, on the criminals, and on the businesses that hire them. My house can be taken for back taxes, yet these people pay no taxes and send all their money out of the country. And I never got a free map from the IRS.

Maybe it’s just time to stop making it so profitable and a little more painful. Unless of course we turn the tables on who profits and who pains.
