Statism Needs Division
by: douglas v. gibbs | published: 04 11, 2012
Statism, American liberalism, communism, socialism, fascism, or any other authoritarian ism you can think of, is not popular on its face, so it must force its way into our lives, even using deception to make the people desire it. Crisis fuels the desire by the people for the government to "gain control" of everything. But in order for the ruling elite to be able to ride in on their prized stallion to save the day, their must be division, so that the liberal statist can claim they are hear to resolve that division. . .
But what if the division is not severe enough for the statists to use it? What if as individuals who are personally responsible and self-reliant, we are doing just fine without the intrusion of government in our lives?
Liberals need division, so if division is not present, they must create it.
Obamacare's time in the Supreme Court, Trayvon Martin, and a whole bunch of other things going on, are the liberal left's attempt to create division among Americans. That is how Obama won the Presidency in 2008 - by promising to unite our poor, divided nation.
Millions of Americans are paying attention to the Supreme Court hearing the arguments over Obamacare, and they are paying attention to what is going on in the country closer than normal. The democrats know this, and they aim to take advantage of it.
The Democrat Party is getting all riled up over things that is happening in our country or in our culture or in our media, and if they can claim it is division and they can unify us, they do. The problem is, they’re lying. They’re making it up. There’s a political agenda here. And the outrage that is causing such division is not as widespread as they are telling you.
The liberal left has been attempting to create the illusion that there is great division in this country by using the Trayvon Martin case as that spring board. They need to create a false reality, because the real world is not divided enough. The country is not as agitated as the left is, but it never is, and that just will not do. They have to find a way to succeed in upsetting people, and then project the blame onto their opposition. They kick the lies into high gear, the deception is about to reach a crescendo, and our primary job as informed voters is to see right through it, press forward, and just don’t believe them.
Every opportunity the left gets they will attempt to create division, in the hopes of gaining the votes of the angry sympathizers of the supposed victims, while also getting rid of one of their enemies, or getting rid of opposition to an issue or piece of legislation they are pushing.
Never mind that such trickery is cheating. That is why nobody believes it. Nobody assumes that an ideology would stoop so low to create division for the sole purpose of political advancement, even if it means destroying lives. The liberal left has no moral fiber or moral core. They don’t care about you, or the country. They’re not interested in what is good for this nation. It doesn’t matter. It’s beneath them. They only desire power and control, and along the way they have become arrogant, conceited, vicious, and out of control. They are liars and manipulators. That’s just who they are.
The liberal left is populated by a bunch of bullies. Ignorant bullies that want their way at any cost. Now, here we have the Supreme Court taking a look at Obama's signature bill, and the court may consider it unconstitutional. Never mind the constitutionality, or lack thereof, of judicial review, that is not what this piece is about. This is about who the liberal left is. The fact is, when they are confronted with hard, cold reality as they have been with the Supreme Court, their obedient media members, their lawyers, their bureaucrats, go into attack mode, liar mode, deception mode, and whatever other mode it takes to get their authoritarian policies in place.
They are out to create division among the economic classes, the races, the parties, and anything else they can tweak, and then blame it on those rich white republicans, and any other straw man they can come up with.
But they cherry pick those stories, even if the claims by the left aren't true. That is why they zeroed in on Trayvon Martin. A poor, innocent black kid killed by a vicious white guy with a gun.
Except Trayvon was not so innocent, and Zimmerman (the evidence is beginning to reveal) was defending himself.
But never mind cases that won't help them. Never mind people like Shawn Tyson, a 17 year old, charged with two counts of first degree murder for killing James Cooper and James Kouzaris in April 2011 and was sentenced to life in prison. The Sarasota, Florida, jury of eight women and four men only deliberated for two hours before coming to the guilty sentence for Tyson. The victims were a couple of Brits that came over here to Disney World for vacation, and this guy tried to rob them. Unfortunately for the robber, the couple didn’t have any money, so he just killed them. Oh, by the way, they’re white; he’s black. You’re not hearing about this in the liberal media because this doesn't fit the view of racist America they are trying to create. It didn't fit with what they’re trying to make you believe in the Trayvon Martin case.
Ah, but with the Trayvon Martin case, the media jumped all over it, trying to make that story fit into their template. Never mind due process. Never mind giving he mother a chance to grieve and Zimmerman an opportunity to come to grips with what happened.
They need the racial division, and now they found some crazy white racists killing in Tulsa and Florida, and it gave them what they want. They have their division, and they will try to convince you that those idiots out there killing people represent their opposition, represents white America, and that there is this out of control war on blacks that only the democrats can save us from.
