Okay, You Want Socialism? Then YOU Pay for It!

50% of Americans clearly want socialism

50% of Americans clearly want socialism, having bought hook, line and sinker into Barack Obama’s version of the Karl Marx system of “from each according to his ability; to each according to his need.”

But equally clear is the fact that the other 50% of Americans don’t want socialism, still preferring the Founders’ notion of freedom, liberty and self-governance.

For decades now, the 50% who still love freedom have been picking up the tab for the 50% only interested in free access to other people’s stuff. It’s easy to want socialism if you’re not the one who has to pay for it.

Well, if you are hell bent on reducing America to third world status with your insane visions of dancing sugarplums in some utopian society where your neighbor has no rights and you have no responsibilities, then the least you can do is pay for it yourself!

The 50% of Americans who voted against your empty suit and his anti-American Marxist agenda have been paying 97.01% of all federal taxes collected up until now. The 50% of you, who prefer Obama’s socialism, have only had to pay 2.99% of all federal taxes to date. That’s about to change...

If you want socialism, fine. But YOU pay for it!

How generous of you to decide how much is too much for your neighbor, so that you can help yourself to his stuff. You don’t even have the get-up-n-go to go steal it yourself. You hire scumbag politicians pandering for personal power to go rob your neighbor for you.

With neighbors like you, who needs enemies?

If you are so sold on collective thought, collective bargaining and communal living - set up a commune full of like-minded freaks and throw all of your stuff in the kitty to be shared equally throughout the commune. Enough of the “what’s mine is mine and what’s yours is mine too” crap!

What makes you think you have the right to run roughshod over half of Americans who have been paying your tab for years, against their will?

If you want socialism, fine. But YOU pay for it!

America is headed for a second civil war alright, divided down the line that separates those who want a right to only what they earn, and those who think “what’s mine is mine, and what’s yours in mine too!”

But this civil war will be over much faster and with less effort than the last.

The first civil war was very bloody. This one will be fought with the pen. Taxpayers need only withhold their pen. There are only 500 idiots in Washington DC. What will they do with 100 million fed up taxpayers who refuse to continue paying for their Marxist slaughter of America?

For years now, the 50% of Americans who feel entitled to other people’s property have taken a no-prisoners strategy in their growing demand for unfettered access to other people’s stuff.

Sooner or later, the other half of the nation that has been picking up the tab for your foolishness will figure out that they can stop your rush into socialism by simply refusing to sign the checks you need to pay for it all.

Senate leader Harry Reid explained in a recent interview how all American taxes are “voluntary.” See his interview here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7mRSI8yWwg

The Entire Economy is NOT in Trouble. YOU are!

If you are a union worker, you are in trouble. That’s because your union placed your industry in a position where you can no longer compete in the free market.

If you borrowed more money than you can ever repay, you are in trouble. You can thank congressional Democrats who forced lenders to make bad loans on the basis of your right to free-stuff instead of your ability to repay, for that reality.

If you consistently spend more than you make, you are in trouble, just like your government which has never failed to spend more than it takes in for over seventy years now. If you think Bush destroyed the economy over the last eight years, you have not been paying attention to what Democrats have done for the last eighty years... and that’s why you are in trouble!

The nation and the economy are not in trouble. Those who have grossly mismanaged their lives are in trouble, including congressional Democrats who are guilty of the very traitorous act Thomas Jefferson warned them against...

“I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.” - Jefferson

Your Happiness is about to come to a Screeching Halt!

Democrats have spent eighty years “wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them -” and all good things much come to an end. Obama is determined to waste another trillion now and before the votes were even counted, he was out on TV last night stating, “I’m open to expanding the stimulus package if this doesn’t work.”

Of course it won’t work and even the empty suit knows it. This is just the first trillion in socialist spending needed to “prepare the nation” for Marxism at the hand of Democratic Socialists now running the fed. There will be trillions more...

However, “Socialism is a philosophy of failure, the creed of ignorance, and the gospel of envy, its inherent virtue is the equal sharing of misery.” - Winston Churchill - It has always failed and it will fail again.

I believe it was former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher who pointed out that socialism is a great idea until you run out of other people’s money...

Well, against the will of the American majority, Democratic Socialist now in unchecked control of the federal government just passed another trillion dollars in debt, wasted on more politically motivated social spending. $4 BILLION to ACORN? For what? This does what to stimulate economic growth?

Soon, they will attempt to lynch the top half of Americans (those who already pay 97.01% of federal taxes) withanother tax increase to pay for it. But guess what?

The people you want to pay for it didn’t vote for it... They have tried for years to stop you from robbing them blind via democratic process. You made your bed, now go sleep in it!

If you want socialism, YOU pay for it!

Best of luck with that!

You didn’t really think the other half of America was just going to sit still and let you destroy their lives too, did you?

By the way, thanks for helping us identify which congressional Republicans need to be booted to the unemployment line in 2010! Specter, Collins and Snowe now top the list.

He with the gold, makes the rules... Remember?

And... Theft is still theft, even when you get elected officials to do your dirty work... It’s truly sad when you are too lazy or cowardly to even do your own stealing... Pathetic!

You had better watch Harry Reid explain how taxes are “voluntary.” How are you going to pay for your socialism now?

See his interview here... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R7mRSI8yWwg

We have oil in America, just like in Norway.

My Norwegian friends pay 30% taxes and everything, absolutely every basic service, is covered. Working parents pay almost no taxes. In fact, stay-at-home mothers get tax refunds equivalent to what they would otherwise pay in day care.

Bottom line, we already pay for socialism, we just don't get much for our taxes.

Actually, capitalism hasn't been "working for centuries." Capitalism was developed in the 18th century, fathered in part by the free market ideas of Adam Smith (although whether or not he is a "capitalist" is up to interpretation). Capitalism followed the feudalistic system of Europe, although it was preceded by mercantilism (a form of proto-capitalism, as it were). Capitalism is not predicated on free markets; the two are different. Free markets refer to a free and unrestricted flow of goods and services in a market of buyers and sellers (think of a farmer's market); capitalism refers to an economic system in which capital (money) is held primarily in private hands and the means of production (industry, agriculture, commerce, etc) are based on the profit motive.

But more to the notion that capitalism has "worked." That depends on your opinion of the word "worked." Capitalism, particularly in the United States, has been typified by periodic and often destructive swings in the business cycle; case in point, the Great Depression and the various depressions of the 19th century. Unregulated capitalism in the 19th century was predicated on the growth of industry; farmers went to the cities to work in factories as farms became more mechanized. This type of capitalism (promoted by government tariffs, land grants, and subsidies) led to increasing living standards in terms of income but DECREASING standards of comfort; the property-less factory hands lived in urban slums; they were paid next to nothing due to a lack of organized labor resistance to employers; working conditions were horrible and work-related accidents often served as one-way roads to poverty due to a lack of workman's compensation and government aid to the disabled; and children were prolifically utilized as cheap laborers. This nightmarish state of society, typified in England in the mid-1800s, prompted Charles Dickens to write A Tale of Two Cities, as he feared that the proletariat of England would rise up against their capitalist masters much like the French peasants did in the French Revolution. Capitalism may have created great amounts of wealth, but it has also created great amounts of sorrow in the lives it has ruined and the social customs and traditions it destroyed (which is why the original conservatives, the nobles, opposed capitalism). It also prompted REAL conservatives, like Otto van Bismarck, to promote certain aspects of socialism like the welfare state to prevent socialists like me from overthrowing the system.

Now, we can argue on whether capitalism has been a net positive for the world till the cows come home, but the idea that capitalism has been "working for centuries" is ridiculous. It has been an evolving process of trial and error and also the efforts of liberals, workers, socialists, and conservatives (yes, you too) to make it better, often through the use of government (or "socialism," even though your references to socialism and those of the writer show your ignorance over the meaning of socialism). In other words, CAPITALISM IS NOT PERFECT AND IT HAS NEVER WORKED PERFECTLY.

If everyone did not pay any taxes throughout the year, and made ONE "payment in full" by April 15th tax day, it would have a huge impact on how our Government operates.

“Those who expect to be both ignorant and free, expect what never was and never will be.”

"The two enemies of the people are criminals and government, so let us tie the second down with the chains of the Constitution so the second will not become the legalized version of the first." - Thomas Jefferson
