Murtha Sees Rednecks, Constituents See Red

Talk about Freudian Slips... Last time this moron opened his mouth, U.S. Marines were indicted

“I hope you don’t have any earmarks in the defense appropriations bills because they are gone and you will not get any earmarks now and forever. … That’s the way I do it!” - Rep. Jack Murtha, in response to Rep. Mike Rodgers'(R-MI) motion to carve Murtha's pork from the Intelligence Authorization Act.

Perhaps I've been wrong all along about Jack Murtha. Perhaps he does have a conscience; a soul. Could it be that he actually apologized for something hurtful he said? Nah, more than likely his mouth was just running on a bit of Dutch courage from his Congressional three-Martini lunch.

A couple of weeks ago, when poll research indicated Barack Obama's lead in the Keystone state was not as comfortable as Democrats would like, Murtha, CAGW's Porker of the Year, expressed his confidence in and admiration of the voters of Western Pennsylvania (many of whom are his constituents)as only a Democrat can:

He told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette: "There's no question that western Pennsylvania is a racist area." When asked to clarify those remarks, he did so by reaffirming his contempt for the good people of those parts, blasting the elderly as slow to embrace change, which is really Democrat code for African-American people, the allegation being western Pennsylvania's voters are racist.

'Tis Far Better to Remain Silent and Be Thought a Fool, Than to Speak and Remove All Doubt

Mr. Murtha's baseless character assassinations have once again angered people all over the country. I guess it wasn't enough to slander eight U.S. combat Marines, the outcome of which was Marines 7 -Murtha 0 with one pending persecution. Despite the trouble his mouth has caused, Jack Murtha still possesses the unbridled arrogance to level unfounded accusations against an entire region of the state he represents.

When enough people got ticked off and the pressure finally built to the extent he had to address it, Murtha didn't apologize, but further fanned the flames when he told a local news anchor:

"What I said that indicted everybody, that's not what I meant at all. What I meant is there's still folks that have a problem voting for someone because they are black...This whole area years ago was really redneck... It's better than a few weeks ago..."

Talk about Freudian Slips. Last time this moron opened his mouth, U.S. Marines were indicted. Really redneck? Better than a few weeks ago? Are you kidding? Accusations of racism should never be leveled without proof positive.This is an outrage. Racism is a product of one's environment. No one is born racist, those beliefs must be instilled in people from a very young age.According to Barack Obama and his ex-pastor, this country is still full of racists. Jack Murtha reinforced that very same point when he said that those racist attitudes more heavily afflict the area's elderly and change far too slowly for his liking, yet he attempts to disguise the poop sandwich he fed them when he said it was better than a few weeks ago.

This man is a disgrace to the Marine Corps, the House of Representatives and the nation. two of the eight Marines he slandered are still being persecuted under the weight of his lies.But as a result he now faces multiple lawsuits for depriving these fine men of their civil and moral rights to not be pre-judged and slandered on television.

Darryl Sharratt, father of accused Marine Justin Sharratt phoned Murtha's office over 40 times seeking an apology from this dirtbag. He even spoke to Murtha once. But Murtha never apologized for falsely accusing his son or his seven fellow Marines, ruining careers and lives and draining family savings dry. Unfortunately, he probably never will, as doing so would likely open him up to immense liability.Were I sitting in judgment over the trials of Wuterich vs. Murtha or Sharratt vs. Murtha and I found the defendant guilty (after the fair trial which he denied them), as part of his sentencing he would be required to issue a public apology on both American and Iraqi television.

This disgrace of a man sits in a corner of the Capitol known as Murtha's corner, where he's apparently cornered the market on earmarks, dispensing them to the other 434 leeches. He is a bombastic bully that can't seem to keep his mouth shut. His website proudly boasts:

"Congressman Murtha is currently the ninth most senior member of the 435 member U.S. House of Representatives.  Of the nearly 10,000 men and women who have served in the U.S. House of Representatives since 1789, only 90 have served longer than he has."

Had his been any other career than a politician, that may be admirable, but in today's world, it is a nightmare. And not one word about his tirade in Charleroi.

During the primaries, we were force-fed Barack Obama's rant about Pennsylvanians clinging to God and guns out of fear. Now we have Jack Murtha's disgusting comments. There seems to be a trend developing here: Democrats accusing the entire state of Pennsylvania of being full of ignorant bigots.There is simply no plausible way they can deny it. They said so.

There is a vast difference between serving your country and serving her honorably. Jack Murtha is devoid of honor or he would apologize to Justin Sharratt and his family and then to the people of Pennsylvania. The voters of that state's 12th District have a clear choice this election between a belligerent,treacherous,career-politician who can't keep his mouth shut or a true hero like Lt. Col. William Russell, who served his country honorably in Iraq. The choice is theirs. I hope they choose wisely.
