BILLY AND FRANKLIN GRAHAM MEET WITH JOHN MCCAIN
It is paramount that McCain get the evangelical vote

It was not a political meeting. It was a meeting of friends at Little Piney Cove, Blue Ridge Mountains in North Carolina.
“I was impressed by his personal faith and his moral clarity on important social issues facing America today."
"We had an opportunity to pray for the senator and his family, and for God's will to be done in this upcoming election."
"I encourage people to vote for the candidate at every level who best represents their values and convictions, and then to pray for those in authority over us as required in Scripture,’ Franklin Graham said per AP’s Liz Sidot."
It is paramount that McCain get the evangelical vote. He has not seemed to understand that in the past, according to certain evangelical national leaders. McCain, reared Episcopalian, worships at a mega-Baptist church in Phoenix with his wife and sons.
McCain is no doubt wise in not wearing his Christian faith on his sleeve. George W. Bush’s profession regarding the evangelical commitment has blown back in his face, disappointing many lifelong evangelicals who genuinely know the definition of the word.
He, for instance, told one Muslim that all roads lead to God. He placed the Koran with great aplomb in the White House library. Both of these acts crushed countless evangelicals.
B. Hussein Obama has prostituted his use of “Christian” by claiming to be one while disclaiming Christian morality as based on Scripture. Obama is into situation ethics which is the situation defining the ethics—relativism instead of absolutism regarding morals.
Obama is a religious opportunist who changes his creed according to whom he is speaking. When with the liberals, he is most comfortably liberal. When speaking to an audience sprinkled with evangelicals, he very careful and suave. He is so suave that he has actually won over some name evangelicals who now endorse him as being sincerely Christian.
Cal Thomas however points out how Obama is far from being Christian when stating that those who are non-Christian can go to heaven. The Bible states just the opposite. True evangelicals know that as a basic. Those who biblical compromise that are betrayers of the first order.
Therefore, McCain is no doubt wise in visiting with persons like the Grahams and staying the moral course of being pro-life and pro-biblical definition of family and marriage rather than mounting pulpits every Sunday as do Hillary and Bill Clinton and B. Hussein Obama.
It is encouraging to biblical believers that McCain’s visit with the Grahams was based on prayer together and the goodwill of attempting to keep scriptural ethics at the forefront of the Republic.
May God bless America by having one in the Oval Office who is genuinely aligned with biblical ethics and quite cognizant of never betraying the Christian witness.
