ABC: The All-Barack Channel

The only thing left for him to regulate are individual thought processes.

There's an old adage that says knowledge is power. Well, if it is true that one is empowered by knowledge, then it is also true that one is weakened by ignorance. We spend our entire lives consuming and evaluating the information placed before our eyes and ears. And in conjunction with all available facts, we use our best judgment to make decisions that affect ourselves, our spouses, our children, our communities and our country. With improper or incomplete information, we end up making hastily-made decisions that have unintended and far-reaching consequences.

Before the Internet, it was nearly impossible for the average citizen to keep track of the inner workings of our government. The news media was the only entity keeping the government honest; exposing waste, fraud and corruption. But the insidious bias that has infected their so-called "reporting" has become so prevalent, that credibility among nationally syndicated news sources such as The New York Times, LA Times, CNN and the Alphabet networks is non-existent.

In the span of 20 years, they've gone from intrepid government watchdog to insipid government lap-dog, with the exception of the Reagan-Bush years, when they assumed the role of trained Pit Bull. And in the fascist society that Barack is now constructing in what used to be the United States of America, the mainstream media is now acting as Ministry of Propaganda.

Despite his adamant denials, it was very widely reported that ABC News' Chief Washington Correspondent George Stephanopoulos has weekly "strategy session" conference calls with White House aides, a cozy relationship which seems highly unethical. In a mediocre display of verbal gymnastics, Stephanopoulos denies holding "strategy sessions", but has never directly denied attending conference calls.

ABC was recently granted exclusive White House access. They broadcast their nightly news and covered what was billed as a health care town hall; an event rigged with pre-screened questions. It is long-established tradition that at the conclusion of any Presidential press conference, State of the Union Address or other public spectacle put on by the party in power, a few moments for rebuttal are extended to the opposition.

But things are no longer normal in the age of ObaMachiavelli: for ABC did not allow a single Republican rebuttal. Nor did they allow any paid advertising opposing any aspect of Obamacare.

During this entire health care debate, Democrats have parroted a New York Times/CBS poll they say indicates Americans overwhelmingly support the Obama vision of a national, compulsory health plan to drive down costs in the private sector (72%). But I say unequivocally, without hesitation, that Barack Obama is engaging in a bald-faced campaign of lies, trying to sucker the entire country into acquiescing to socialized medicine. And the mainstream media is colluding with him all the way.

The poll sampled far more Obamachiavelli voters (48%) than McCain voters (25%), a classic case of massaging the numbers; a means justifying an end; a conclusion in search of the evidence. Those conducting this charade claim that their polls are weighted for factors other than party ID, such as census data, but that data can just as easily inject bias into the poll.

The number of uninsured used by ObaMachiavelli to demonstrate the urgency of his imaginary health care crisis --46 million-- was, as I indicated last week, also completely bogus. When you subtract the number of eligible people who'd rather nurse the public teat for free, those for whom health isn't a priority or those who will eventually reclaim their health insurance, the number of true uninsured dwindles to less than half that cited by ObaMachiavelli.

ObaMachiavelli calls concerns over government run health care "illogical" and "illegitimate". Unlike his fraudulent Certification of Live Birth, which proves only that he's alive and human, and his illicit claim to the White House, no concern of an American citizen over the heavy-handedness exhibited by this incorrigible narcissist is illegitimate, particularly concerns over oppressive government, which are backed up by evidence.

And while Barack ObaMachiavelli dismisses public concerns as illegitimate, he uses bogus evidence to back up that specious claim. Evidence that is contrived. Evidence that is so bogus, even editors at The New York Times and LA Times completely expunged it from their papers.

Only with the help of unscrupulous journalists has Barack ObaMachiavelli managed to take Presidential dishonesty to a subterranean low; one not seen since Richard Nixon. The generational dumbing-down of our society with reality television hasn't helped. Barely six months into this obamanation and he has unionized the federal government and seized control of our economy, our financial system, what's left of our auto industry, our capacity for energy production and our health care industry; a true socialist coup d' etat. The only thing left for him to regulate are individual thought processes. And that's coming. Yet a pliant media refuses to level even the most modest of criticism. A few more years of the mainstream media's disinformation campaign and Americans will be a disarmed, compliant society; ignorant of the danger and therefore powerless to stop the march of tyranny until it's too late.
